KoinoniaTHERAPY

Virtual therapy for clients who reside in Virginia & Indiana

Healing the places where love, faith, and life intersect.

Therapy for individuals and couples who want more than simply getting through the hard parts—a compassionate, faith-integrated space to understand what is happening, reconnect, and move forward.

You can love God and love each other deeply—and still bring tremendous brokenness into a marriage. Healing begins when we are willing to tell the truth about what is happening and learn a new way forward.

A place to be honest

You don't have to choose between your faith and good therapy.

Sometimes the hardest things to talk about are the things that matter most: the distance in your marriage, sexual struggles you don't know how to fix, patterns you keep repeating, or parts of yourself you have learned to hide.

Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand the deeper story, and practice a different way of relating—with yourself, with your spouse, and with God.

A whole-person approach

Evidence-based therapy, shaped around you.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from Gottman-informed couples work, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and Christian sex therapy through a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens.

Why Koinonia?

A name centered on connection.

Koinonia is a Greek word used throughout the New Testament meaning fellowship, communion, and shared life. The name reflects the kind of deep connection I hope to help couples cultivate—with God and with one another.
