Questions before getting started?
Where do you see clients?
I currently see clients virtually who reside in Virginia or Indiana.
What insurance do you accept?
Aetna is currently the only insurance accepted. Insurance can only be used when services meet your plan's requirements for a covered, diagnosable mental health condition.
Is marriage counseling covered by insurance?
Marriage or relationship counseling may not be covered when the service is solely for relationship concerns without a qualifying mental health diagnosis. Sexual concerns may be treated similarly. Private pay may be necessary.
How do I get started?
Please reach out by email or phone first. Once we decide to move forward, Headway is my primary platform for scheduling and practice management for both self-pay and insurance clients.
Do you do consultations?
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation upon request so we can briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, answer initial questions, and determine whether we may be a good fit.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
No. Services are currently virtual only.
What if I am in crisis?
This practice is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the U.S., call or text 988.
